Every small business needs a website, it is the most effective way to communicate what you offer. Sometimes however, a business can’t afford one

OR doesn’t know how to go about getting started.!

At bytesized we break everything down into easily digestible bites, at a byte-sized price.

Q: How does it work?

1st byte: How much does it cost?

*Note:

Special:
R800 for the first page, and R500 for every page thereafter (ex VAT)

Eg: a one page website will cost R800, a two page website will cost R1300, a three page website will cost R1800...

- (50% of total amount, is required before we commence work.)
- maximum 700 words per page
- 1 set of content changes included eg: replacing photos, adding text...
a 6 page website will cost R3000 (discount of R300)
2nd byte: How does it work?
You choose a website design from our range of templates. To customise the website template, you provide us with your logo, photos, colour scheme and content for the site... and we put it together. View websites...
3rd byte: How long until my website is live on the internet?
If you already have a domain name, hosting & FTP details, it will take 5 working days from the time you provide us with ALL the relevant info and images.

If you still need a domain name & hosting, read on...
4th byte: What about a domain name?
A domain name is like an address, where your business can be found, except it is not a physical address but an internet address.

We have a package that will cost R150 once-off, for us to purchase a domain name on your behalf (i.e. the “www.abc.co.za “ thingy) and then R99 p/ yr to keep it.
  5th byte: What about hosting?
Every website needs to be hosted on the internet. We have a package that will cost you R45 per month, which includes 5 email boxes, 20MB space and 500MB traffic.

NB: Please feel free to arrange your own domain name and hosting (remember to get your FTP details!).
6th byte: What about Google and other search engines?
1) Search Engine optimization will cost R797 once-off setup fee, but is well worth it. In addition, but optional, is a monthly search engine submission for R113 p/month.
2) If you want your site to be listed on Google or any other search engine, it needs to be optimized to improve your chances of being found.
3) ‘Optimization’ is the process of improving the volume and traffic to your website from search engines. We must add however, that to move up the rankings (amoungst other things) you will need to regularly re-submit your site, this is best received by search engines if you submit your site manually.
